Flying Kites

The girls made some kites at a friend's house the other day. They have been so excited to fly them so, we headed to one of the parks and gave it a shot. There was no wind and the temperature was nearing 100 degrees. Emily got hers up for a couple of seconds (glad a snapped the picture).Alyssa and Anna ran and ran but this is about the highest theirs went.

And, after about 3-5 minutes...the little girls headed for the swings and Emily went to the air conditioned van to sit with Eli.

And poor PaPa was left with all the kites and little girls expectations for him to get them flying.

We were only out there for a total of about 20 minutes. This summer heat drains ya. Stay cool!
